Looks like we will have 91% totality with darkening of the sky beginning at 2:10pm on April 8. It will reach maximum eclipse coverage at 3:25pm.
I see eclipses as a reminder of the wonder of the universe, and a bit magical in the battle between sun and moon. Remember to use proper eye protection when viewing!

 My fashion hero, Vivienne Westwood, never stopped trying to reinvent fashion. She was also an activist. I hope to channel her in 2023 to be brave, bold, and use my art as a platform for pro-mutant activism. 

What is the nature of self? I have reason to believe it is a temporal entity. Hit with my own dust, I bleed out of my container of self and become one with the world, and all time exists at once. Also, when I'm in a creative flow, I lose all sense of time and of myself in the flow. It seems, for me at least, that there is no sense of time without the sense of self, and vice versa.

I wish I knew someone with chronokinesis powers so I could ask their perspective.

I graduated from my design school's fashion program in May. It was a whirlwind leading up to graduation and the "dust" has finally settled, leaving me feeling a little less-than-enchanted with my muggle school experience. It's probably my own fault for choosing a really difficult final project. I was afraid to make my fashions directly centered on mutants, but I did some statement pieces about flaunting difference and being visible. Unfortunately, I think I crippled myself by not talking about mutants. So I've been kind of bummed about that ever since.

On a side note, I've taken on additional part-time work now that I don't have crazy amounts of project work to do. Yay for more money! This is my first time working in an office, though, and I could really use some wardrobe tips for office wear that works with wings (Eventually, I'll get back to my sewing machine and make some).

This is fashion design, people. Isn't it glamorous?

I got a little reminder on my calendar that it's her birthday today. I wonder how she is doing? It's been an entire year now.

Where did I get my mutant genes from? Mum and Dad weren't mutants. My sister isn't one. But I don't really know a lot about my family, like my grandparents and stuff. They were dead before I was born. How would I go about finding out?

Yay, I'm turning 16 on Monday!

I have an idea for an outfit that I really want to make (or make Nico make me, hehe). Basically I want some long, purple fuzzy arm-warmers so my wings don't have to be folded up and covered by my giant hoodies all the time. Ooo, maybe black and purple striped.

Anyway, Monday is a silly day for a birthday so I'm claiming Sunday + Monday. Come by to Nico's and my suite on Sunday around 5 PM for cake and icecream and shrimps.

I did a lot of flying today. In a short amount of time.

I feel pretty wiped out...

Now for adventures of the homework kind.
