I still hear the Grande Dame's voice in my head, mocking me, calling me impure, tainted. But you know what? That “tainted” power of mine was strong enough to break her hold (sorry Namor, but stabbing you with the Soul Dagger was the only way!). So she can just deal with it. And they are not family!

My mum and dad might not have given me their DNA, but they gave me everything else. Love, a home, their values. And I count the X-Men as my family, too.

Who needs some Grand Dame's approval? You are amazing Pixie! And stabbing is always good, Namor probably deserved it. :)
