Hello New York!

Hi, I'm Megan Gwyn. I'm from Wales and I'll be living and attending classes here in New York at Professor X's school.
Umm... a bit about me... I like drawing, shoes... actually I mostly customize my own shoes by getting white ones and doodling on them with fabric markers. I'm not very good at people or faces, but I do lots of detailed design-type things.
My hair really is bright pink, which is OK because I don't have to look at it too often. I really like black and purple. I don't think I'm really that girly, so don't be scared off! I hate chick flicks. I don't really like shopping.
I like all kinds of music, including some pop-type stuff but I mostly listen to punk, rock and alternative. I have  loads of files if anyone wants to swap music!

Anyway, see you at school!

PS: You can call me Pixie, but don't call me Meg!

Southern Rock? Sure, like Creedence Clearwater Revival. But I don't really know any recent Southern Rock. It's not that popular in the UK.

Nice to meet you, Sam!

We ought to fix that, then. I also like to tailor lesson plans to student's interests. Did you know there are Historians that trace society's attitudes about the time they live in on music alone?

I had no idea that historians can trace society's attitudes based on music... but what about like ancient Egypt? Do we know what the pharaohs listened to?
